Post-Construction Cleanings

Am I able to arrange a cleaning service for post construction?

Post construction cleaning guidelines:

Please review the post-construction cleaning guidelines prior to booking an appointment:

Pricing for Post Construction cleaning

  1. The cleaning services are charged starting from $100 per hour for a team of two cleaners, which equates to $50 per hour for each labor hour
  2. A minimum fee of $200 applies for post-construction cleaning, covering 2 cleaners for 2 hours. However, in most cases, we observe that a thorough post-construction cleaning typically requires between 6-8 hours of service. The total time necessary to complete your cleaning will vary based on the property’s size and the home’s overall state.
  3. PLEASE NOTE:

We are unable to conduct a post-construction cleaning if other service providers are working in the home at the same time. Furthermore, your home must have electricity, running/hot water on all floors, and functional heating/air conditioning during the relevant months.

Selecting the Right Amount of Time for Your Post-Construction Cleaning

We advise the following minimum timeframes for cleaning after construction:

  1. A useful guideline (although unexpected events can occur) for average cleaning times is as follows:

    ➔ General/Good Condition

    ◆ Standard: 60 mins/1000 sq/ft for team or 90 mins/1000 sq/ft for solo.

    ◆ Deep: 90 mins/1000 sq/ft for team or 120 mins/1000 sq/ft for solo.

    ➔ Heavy Duty

    ◆ Standard: 90 mins/1000 sq/ft for team or 120 mins/1000 sq/ft for solo.

    ◆ Deep: 120 mins/1000 sq/ft for team or 150 mins/1000 sq/ft for solo.

General Post-Construction Rules

➔ The construction has to be fully completed, with no exceptions allowed.

➔All materials related to the construction, including drop cloths, tape, boxes, supplies, paints, and similar items, must be cleared away.

➔All items such as paint, spackle, mud, grout, or any other substances that may be drying, setting, or wet, must be fully dry and safe to handle.

➔ Reasonably, cleaning a space that has recently undergone significant construction or renovation typically requires at least 6-8 hours.

What happens if I don’t schedule enough time?

  1. If you book too little time, there’s a risk of not getting a thorough cleaning. For safety, we advise scheduling more time rather than less.

Example: If you schedule a 2.5-hour session with a team of two cleaners but the job needs more time to finish, the cleaning will be incomplete. Although you will receive 2.5 hours of service from the team (amounting to 5 labor hours in total), they will cease cleaning after this period, as per your booking, and proceed to their next client’s appointment.

What occurs if I schedule more time than necessary?

If you schedule more time than needed, the rate will be modified, and you will be charged only for the actual time used for cleaning, with the total not falling below the minimum fee of $200.

  1. Example 1: If you reserve a 3.5-hour cleaning session with a team of two cleaners and they complete the job in 3.0 hours, your bill will be calculated based on the actual 3.0 hours of cleaning performed.
  2. Example 2: If you scheduled a 2.0-hour cleaning session with a team of two cleaners and the job was completed in 1.5 hours, your bill would reflect the minimum charge of $170.
